TiszaTextil Kft is founded as a 50:50 joint venture with TVK (Tiszai Vegyi Kombinát Rt.) in Tiszaujvaros, Hungary, for the manufacture of plastic-based packaging products

Increase of weaving and confectioning capacity for polypropylene bag production

1996

Start of polyethylene bag production as well as AD* STAR® bag production

100% Takeover of TiszaTextil Kft. by owners

TiszaTextil installs new AD* STAR® production line

TiszaTextil plant in France (single-loop bags, Pharma) joined the group

TiszaTextil gets ready for the future: The site in Hungary invests in state-of-the-art plant technology in order to maintain its position as technology leader in the industry. Extrusion machinery specifically designed for recyclables and a multicolour printing plant begin operation

A key milestone was the integration of TT’s expertise in 4-loop bags with TTP’s pharmaceutical packaging know-how, enabling the successful launch of pharmaceutical 4-loop bag production at TT

The opening of TT Biotec marked a key milestone in the TiszaTextil Group’s commitment to the circular economy. Today, the company converts high-quality industrial plastic waste into premium PP and PE regranulates, combining advanced recycling technology, complete control of the recycling loop and a reliable European supply chain to support sustainable manufacturing
